Original design. This doll is based on the painting of Henry VIII by Hans Holbein The Younger 1537 right down to his silk stockings. My doll making goal was to make a recognizable historical figure. Hence, Henry VIII was created, a man at the forefront of fashion with his powerful silhouette and trendsetting codpiece.
