Secret Fairy Garden

Original design. The use of silk cocoons for the fairy heads was adapted from a purse pattern by Marion Bolson. The bodies are my own pattern, as well as the “garden keeper” doll. One morning, I was contemplating how to use the challenge fabric while watching a gardening show. After finding a wire frame at work, everything fell into place and my idea for the “secret fairy garden” was born. This doll combines my love for fairies and crafting wired ribbon flowers.
