Original design. The appliqué on the front was inspired by a wall hanging called “Butterflies in Bloom”. The buttons are antique. The fantasy Phoenix on the back was done using a pattern by Hatched in Africa . I bought the emerald green silk on a trip to Hong Kong and wanted to use it in a wearable. The Hoffman fabric was a perfect accent. I also used a sample embroidery I had previously made.
