Because I love butterflies, the Challenge fabric was very appealing to me and I envisioned this quilt immediately! The butterfly wings and leaf are individually quilted pieces; machine appliqued on to a 3-dimensional effect. I also used Angelina, organza, Swarovski crystals, ultra suede, and fabric paint in creating and embellishing.
