Floral Fusion
Jacket/Skirt, Size 10
Eve Kovacs, Woodridge, IL

Original surface design. Skirt is based on Vogue 2726, Jacket on Simplicity 4412. The challenge fabric is the "glue" that fuses the prints in the skirt and the quilting and embroidery in the jacket together. The challenge fabric provides the transitions from the blue-greens-purples to the pinks-blues-purples. The leaf colors in the challenge fabric inspired the color choice for the quilting and embroidery in the jacket. Piping, buttons, and the flower further unify the pieces.
