Imagine, Create, Delight
Sketch Book

I've made quilted book covers for three years. My starting point for developing the ideas came from Linda Johansen's fabric covered bowls and boxes, but beyond the edge finishing, the techniques used are mine, created through much trial and error. To bend the heavy-weight interfacing to my will, I carefully "score" the product with stitching. I also work with what I call an "open-face quilt sandwich" - two layers instead of three. I interface all the interior sleeves for body and carefully and repeatedly edge stitch to finish the covers.
